Last week, it was great to glimpse the future at an eye-opening event.
By going to Birmingham to attend ‘Packaging Innovations & Empack 2025’, the Spanjer team gleaned all kinds of precious insights about what’s possible in the world of packaging.
Our two days at the NEC proved a rich opportunity for making great personal connections with new and existing clients and suppliers.
The event is, after all, recognised as the UK’s biggest marketplace for packaging materials, contract packing services and processing equipment.
Having our own stand was an excellent way to showcase our capabilities and talk others through the quality of our offerings.
On the first evening, we attended the annual BCMPA Gala Dinner, enjoying drinks at the Highline Bar and then a fantastic dinner in the Lake Lounge at the Genting Hotel.
The BCMPA had a strong presence at the NEC, as they celebrated 25 years with an innovative ‘outsourcing is’ campaign, (more about that in a future post) and it was great to see so many other members attending the event.
We came away from Birmingham enthused by the new insights and the new connections made; we believe that both will serve Spanjer well in the coming months, and beyond.
